1965
An association is formed with Wilson Walton Ltd. from U.K., an Anglo-American company specializing in corrosion control of ships, offshore structures and industry.
1966
Shell Tankers NV appoints MM NV to survey the steel for their fleet of vessels. From there the explosion in maritime activities began within the Netherlands and Belgium. The majority of shipyards invited the new NDT techniques for quality control of steel from MM NV.

1966-1974
During these years MM NV expands the market and becomes a partner for the international oil industry, applying our techniques to companies as Exxon, Total, Aramco, Chevron, Texaco - to name but a few.
1974
Due to expansion MM NV moves to larger premises in Barendrecht.
1984
Due to further expansion MM NV moves to even larger premises in Zwijndrecht, expanding services both within the Netherlands and Western Europe . Also the first branch office is openede in Velsen (now Beverwijk).
1988
The second branch office is opened in Hengelo.
1989
Materiaal Metingen Quality Consulting BV is established specializing in quality and safety engineering. Also The Non-Destructive Testing School is purchased from Rotterdam Dry-dock BV. Ever since MME offers training to her own personnel and engineers from various companies - they are examined for levels applying to the A.S.N.T. and EN 473 (SKO).
1990
Materiaal Metingen Europe BV is established to further develop our specialised services and products in the maritime industry.
1991
Due to continuous growth the company moves from the Zwijndrecht office to a newly built office in Ridderkerk, specially designed to meet the specific requirements of MME.
1992
The Heerenveen branch office is opened
1993
The laboratory is added to MME. MME has taken over the laboratories of the Rotterdamse Drydock Company (RDM) and Van Leeuwen Buizen. Also the foundry is opened in Maidstone, UK. A few years later the foundry moves to new premises in Faversham.
2005
The Dintelmond branch office is opened.
2008
The Eindhoven office is opened. MME now has branch offices in every region in the Netherlands
